Powertex Transparent: is a versatile, environmentally friendly, acid free, water based, universal art medium. When used traditionally, it will harden any absorbent natural materials, fabrics and fibres, drying with a mat finish to show the original pattern and colour of the hardened fabrics. Alternatively, Powertex can be used to create incredible textural effects for painting and mixed media when combined with self-hardening clays, concrete, stone, ceramic, wood, sand, Stone Art and Easy3Dflex. A diverse range of colours can also be made using Powertex Transparent mixed with Powercolour matt pigments by simply dissolving the pigment in a little warm water, to make a paste, and stirring into the Powertex. For outdoor use Powertex Transparent can be weatherproofed with two layers of Easy Varnish. Ensure you allow your work to dry for at least three weeks before putting it outside.
